New York based, Kaftko is a fashion brand that specializes in creating comfortable and stylish clothing that is perfect for a variety of occasions. Their products are designed to be versatile and can be worn for lounging, running errands, or attending events. The brand's collection of kaftans is available in a range of colors, patterns, and styles to suit different preferences.
They make more than just kaftans, offering a full line of cuts including shirts, pants, and shorts, all made from high-quality materials. Kaftko is a brand that is committed to providing their customers with comfortable and fashionable clothing that they can feel confident in.
Objective
Our collaboration with Kaftko harnessed a diverse spectrum of creative skills. From working closely with the brand's founder to conceiving captivating prints, creating silhouettes for fresh garments, crafting engaging email campaigns, and contributing to brand development – we applied our expertise to shape Kaftko's successful journey.
Development
Leveraging our extensive apparel background, we crafted new technical drawings and prepared prints for overseas production, streamlining the process of conceptualizing new line releases. From kaftans, tops, bottoms, shorts, hats, and even socks, we were fully engaged in every step of the development.
KAMP
Collaborating closely with founder Oday Shakar, we curated a stunning collection of prints that literally spanned head-to-toe as we adapted our designs to fit on everything from hats to socks. Making sure prints are placed properly on a variety of silhouettes as well as adjusting the scale where needed creates an immersive and unforgettable "Kamp" experience.
Billy Porter
As an LGBTQ-owned business, we were deeply honored to play a part in creating the pride look for the iconic Billy Porter . His personalized kaftan graced the prestigious cover of Vera Magazine, and we felt truly privileged to be a part of this extraordinary collaboration.
Ross Mathews
In yet another remarkable collaboration, we had the joy of working with the legendary Ross Mathews and his husband Wellinthon Garcia. Together, we designed a print to commemorate their wedding in Puerto Vallarta. To our delight, Ross's kaftan adorned the flower girl Drew Barrymore on the Drew Barrymore Show. Working with Ross was an absolute delight, and we cherished every moment of the experience.
Marketing
As Kaftko's seasonal assortment is poised for release, having a concise and compelling brand book became crucial. This document narrates Kaftko's captivating story in just a few pages, enabling us to seamlessly onboard potential investors, contractors, and collaborators. With this powerful tool in hand, our onboarding process becomes swift and effortless, ensuring a smooth journey for all involved.
