New Basin Distilling Company

A distillery born from the shared entrepreneurial spirit of five Oregonians with diverse backgrounds in farming, cattle ranching, education, piloting, and craftsmanship. Established in 2014 and officially opened in 2016, thier Madras, Oregon-based distillery is not just a producer of exceptional whiskey, vodka, and gin but also technically a farm, boasting 400 acres of grain cultivation. Committed to a grain-to-glass approach, they blend their fine grain with sourced alcohol from across the United States and crystal-clear Opal Springs water—the purest and oldest on earth.

Branding

Drawing inspiration from the distinctive tanks integral to the distilling process, Tony skillfully echoes their curves and circular shapes in the rebranded logo. The incorporation of a bold font enhances readability, ensuring a more accessible experience. The resulting mark not only pays homage to the distillation process but also conveys confidence, assuring consumers that their product meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Tony took inspiration from New Basins’ distilling equipment for the redesigned logo mark.

 Packaging

In the packaging process, we meticulously designed eight distinct styles of distilled liquor. Each bottle is equipped with a tamper-proof seal, features a badge-style logo, and showcases a label containing essential details such as the brand name, logo, product name, and key information about the spirit. Additionally, a hang tag complements the presentation. To facilitate easy identification, all elements are thoughtfully color-coded.
